Ok. How are you? Good.

Well, after spending the first half of the year in Florida, I am back in Connecticut. Summer is upon us and my musical life has been busy. I just returned from a DesBerardo trip to Virginia Beach. It was a good; old fashioned Fourth of July blowout that ended as fast as it started. I can say, however, that I only broke two guitar strings, saw a Phillies/Orioles game at Camden Yards and Chris didn't drown. All in all it was a good trip.

Next up is the Falcon Ridge Folk Fest New Artist Showcase on July 27th. This will be a great day at one of the truly great folk festivals in the U.S. It is a huge opportunity and honor to be in the Showcase, so I am really looking forward to it. My main-stage slot (I will be performing with Pete Szymanski on bass) takes place sometime between 1 and 5pm on Friday (July 27th) afternoon. I really hope you can make it down to yell for me and make me look like a big shot. Even if you can't make it on Friday afternoon, I hope you make it sometime during the weekend. You won't be disappointed. The Long Hill Farm is on a beautiful piece of land in Upstate New York. There will be a ton of food, several stages, crafts, and a whole lot of the best songwriters in the country including Gillian Welch, John Gorka, Dar Williams and more. I, myself, will be camping out all weekend, so I hope I will see you there. Check out the link on the home page for tix info and directions.

Also, this web site is new and just getting started. I hope to have a large photo gallery, lyrics and many links up soon. I want this to be the kind of site you come back to often, so I will be updating it a s much as possible. Feel free to email me and tell me what you think or what you want to see or just to say what's on your mind. My office door is always open.

Plans are coming together for my third CD. I have a bunch of new songs and really feel ready to record. To that end, I have been scheming. Plans include taking a portable CD recorder on the road to record in some new and weird locations. I would love to get as many different musicians as possible involved in this next CD. Give it the live feeling of good friends singing in a small room. More on all of this as it develops. Also, I love it when folks leave reviews for my CD's at Amazon.com. If you haven't yet, please do. They mean a lot to me and really encourage others to take a chance on a CD. Mostly, I love and appreciate your support and kind words. Thanks. Until next time, keep your helmet strapped on and fly right.
