How We Work:
At the core of efolkMusic is a robust, comprehensive, and interactive multimedia Web site that offers a large collection of music in digital format, thousands of tracks from exceptional musicians available for promotional use and purchase, for immediate download numerous streaming audio samples of various recordings extensive artist information, including discography and performance schedules and reviews interactive databases of folk radio shows, festivals and house concerts online folk music radio feed discussion forums services for artists, including online CD and MP3 sales.


Site visitors will discover music and artists of interest by browsing features and musical genres, listening to music and discussing topics in our forum. Part library, part living museum, all in a highly accessible interactive online application.


eFolkMusic is the source for digitally stored folk music. We digitize and distribute contemporary and historical recordings offer audio and video recordings for online purchase pay royalties to artists and encourage further productions protect artists’ intellectual property develop educational materials to foster understanding of and appreciation for folk music.


Most importantly, sales of recordings will generate royalties paid to the artists and archivists allowing them to continue to practice their art. And because efolkMusic is a non-profit organization, an even greater share of the proceeds will be returned to those who create the music.
